The Tie Plate attaches to the floor at the wall plate and angles down the side of the rim joist, creating a strong and reliable connection. Fasten it with either 0.131 x 1-½ in. nails or 8 x 1-½ in. screws, ensuring at least 50% of the pre-punched holes in the strap are filled. Each assembly includes all the necessary components for easy installation, including the swivel connector, tie plate, bolt, two washers, and a nyloc nut. The Swivel Tie Plate Assembly is engineered for strength, offering either a 2,000 lb. or 3,150 lb. capacity.
