Use this web application to quickly estimate guardrail requirements by drawing your project layout on an interactive map. *Please Note: Guardrail & base counts is only an estimate. An adjustable guardrail may be required to complete your installation.
Drawing Your Layout
Enter an address and click on the map to add points along your desired path. When you’re done, click the "Finish Line" button to complete your segment. The lines will calculate the amount of 10ft guardrails needed, and add either a 7.5ft or 5ft guardrail at the end of the line depending on distance.
Guardrails & Bases Needed
10ft guardrails are represented by white squares, Gray squares represent 7.5ft guardrails, & Black squares represent 5ft guardrails. The amount of bases will be automatically calculated.
Your project details—including distance and guardrail/base counts—appear in the sidebar. Click the "Save Project" button, enter your details, and then copy your unique project link to share with your team or to reference the project at a later time.
Installing Guardrail
Remember, outriggers are required at each end of a continuous guardrail system and at any interruption. When on a slope, 5ft outriggers must be placed every 20ft. Always verify measurements and consult a professional installer for safety and code compliance.
