Optional Quick Set Extension for Securope or FLFA

Tie Down Safety’s Quick Set Extension is an optional accessory for the Tie Down Securope and Fixed Ladder Fall Arrest Kit. This optional component allows the steel cable to extend past the top ladder rung an additional 3’. This allows workers continued connection when dismounting the top of a ladder. Many ladder accidents occur during the transition from ladder to the roof. The Quick Set Extension solves this problem by maintaining a connection throughout this transition. In addition, the Quick Set Extension allows for tie-off as a worker transitions onto the walking surface for added safety. The Quick Set Extension can accommodate a permanent vertical lifeline system or an SRL for fall protection when climbing a fixed ladder.
