3D Tube Laser Video (3 min)

On Site Machining Shop

All in one machining convenience. No need to order expensive die set changes. All designs and manufacturing takes place at Tie Down in house machining shop. Tie Down has 2 Mitsubishi EDM's (Electric Discharge Machines) and a CNC Milling Machine, for precise manufacture.

Four Mitsubishi Robotics Milling Machines

Used to produce the Eliminator Torsion Axle arm and disc brake calipers. The completely automatic robot action allows constant milling while the operator removes finished parts and replace them with raw castings.

Robotics Welding

State of the art welding equipment operates on a rotating turret. While the welding operator removes the finished product and replaces it with new parts the robot rotates the turret's to weld an other product.

Laser Cutting

Tie Down operates 4 of the latest/largest laser cutting machines available today. With capabilities up to 5 ft x 10 ft x 1/2" we can cut almost any custom sheet metal on demand. This also allows fast prototyping of new products.

Custom Trailer Tube Drilling Press

Designed by Tie Down's engineering staff for Tie Down. This drilling press design allows a single trailer tube to be drilled by as many as 10 drills at the same time. This speeds production while maintaining high quality standards.

Progressive Dies and Injection Molds

Tie Down designs and builds our dies from stamping operations in presses up to 250 tons, and molds for three injection molding machines.
