Real world salt water testing in Key Largo, Florida.Caliper shown (untouched) was road tested, then submerged into salt water 18” deep, twice daily for approximately 2.5 hours per occurrence for 14 days.

Brake test equipment duplicates
a 3750 lb. trailer at 60 mph.

500,000 Cycles, the equivalent to panic stops. 720 cycles per hour, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Tie Down Engineering's test equipment duplicates repeated stops and brake drag loads that are experienced in mountain driving and in-town stop and go traffic.

Typical temperature differences between the rotor and caliper is over 750 degrees after operating brakes in extreme brake drag tests.

Temperature at caliper shows 196 degrees

Temperature at rotor shows 946 degrees
