Shown above are photos of the two assemblies at just 100/400 hours of exposure. The competitors assembly (left) is exhibiting a severe color change (darker, redder), while Tie Down's assembly (right) may have a slight change in color.Tie Down's Hull Sav'r line of rollers, keel pads and bow stops are manufactured out of Poly Vinyl Chloride with Ultra Violet (UV) inhibitors. Independent testing confirms the superior performance of Tie Down's Hull Sav'r injection molded PVC product when compared to traditional poured Poly Urethane products.
Shown below is the Service Laboratory Report:
The top line of samples shows Poly Urethane material, the bottom line is Tie Down's Poly Vinyl Chloride with UV inhibitors. This test was performed under UVA bulbs for 297 hours, 516 hours and 783 hours.
